Full Job Description Dental Technician Job Overview Role :

Dental Technician handling shipping and quality control (off-site distribution) with room for growth in the role to include patient education (virtual oral appliance inserts) and in office helping with patient flow, flipping rooms, and sterilization at our Manhattan location.

Team:

Reports to a dental director and will work with members of a virtual team

Location :

Private office within a flex workspace (WeWork/WorkSocial): 111 Town Square Place, #1203 Jersey City, NJ 07310 and 245 5th Ave.

NY, NY 10016

Schedule :

Monday through Friday, 5 hours per day (25 hours per week)

Smart casual

Target Profile :

Junior or entry-level dental lab technician or dental assistant

Workplace Environment Primary Setup :

Independent work inside a dedicated, private office space.

Collaboration :

A senior or executive team member will share the office up to once a week.

Key Responsibilities Inspection :

Check incoming dental oral appliances for basic visual quality and correct labeling.

Repackaging :

Safely and securely repackage dental devices according to exact standards.

Shipping :

Prepare outgoing packages, print labels, and track shipments accurately.

Inventory :

Keep a clear count of all items coming in and going out of the workspace.

Patient and Room Prep :

Growth in the role to include patient education (virtual oral appliance inserts) and in office helping with patient flow, flipping rooms, and sterilization at our Manhattan location.

Requirements Experience :

Basic knowledge from a junior or entry-level dental lab technician background, dental assisting, and/or shipping clerk experience

Skills :

Good eye for detail, basic computer use, and careful handling of medical items.

Communication :

Friendly and respectful professional etiquette in a shared office environment.
