This role is essential to keeping our clinical operations running smoothly and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency throughout our office. About the Role As a Sterilization Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining the sterilization area, ensuring all instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and organized. You'll play a key role in supporting our doctors and assistants so that patient care stays on schedule and runs seamlessly. What We're Looking for Our ideal candidate is: Reliable and consistently on time Highly organized and detail-oriented Friendly, helpful, and professional A strong communicator with both patients and team members A team player who works well with others Proactive and able to anticipate the needs of the schedule Passionate about their work and maintaining high standards Key Responsibilities Clean, disinfect, and sterilize all instruments and equipment Maintain sterilization equipment (statim, autoclaves, Miele) and coordinate service when needed Perform handpiece cleaning, lubrication, and maintenance (including repairs) Stock operatories and ensure rooms are prepared and turned over efficiently Break down and assist in cleaning treatment rooms Manage and organize inventory, including proper use of tag systems Monitor stock levels, expiration dates, and supply organization Wrap cassettes, bag instruments, and distribute sterilized items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sterilization area Monitor sharps containers and biohazard waste Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks (e.g., suction lines, bio strips, deep cleaning) Assist with seating patients and supporting clinical flow when needed Ensure laundry is completed and supplies (water bottles, syringes, etc.) are fully stocked What we offer Competitive pay with opportunities for performance-based incentives & profit sharing Comprehensive Insurance package Medical Insurance and HSA (if enrolled in high deductible plan) Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time off and paid holidays 401k with company match Opportunities for professional development and continuing education Access to state-of-the-art equipment and latest dental technology A supportive and growth-oriented work environment
