Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements Conduct thorough patient assessments using medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop accurate treatment plans Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to deliver efficient, high-quality care Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term wellness Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry through ongoing professional development Requirements Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis and medical terminology Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, implants, root canals, orthodontic treatments, and pediatric dentistry procedures Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality of medical records Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes Commitment to adhering to all healthcare diagnosis standards and state healthcare regulations Join our team as we strive to provide outstanding dental services that enhance smiles and improve lives.
