Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and diagnostic imaging interpretation using medical imaging tools Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and healthcare regulations, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare laws Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses, procedures, and post-operative care instructions effectively to patients and team members Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to ensure patient safety during all procedures Collaborate with general dentists, orthodontists, prosthodontists, pediatric dentists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive care Educate patients on procedure expectations, post-operative care, and preventive practices to enhance recovery and long-term health outcomes Requirements Valid state license to practice as an Oral Surgeon with board certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery preferred Proven experience in oral surgery within a dental clinic or healthcare setting; familiarity with dental office software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly desirable Strong knowledge of dental diagnosis, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards Expertise in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy support, dental implants placement, and prosthodontic procedures Skilled in patient care techniques including patient assessment, client communication, and medical documentation Ability to adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare policies governing patient privacy and safety Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to patient education and team collaboration Demonstrated commitment to infection control practices and aseptic techniques in all procedures Join us as an Oral Surgeon committed to transforming lives through exceptional surgical care!
