Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics. Carry out complex treatments including dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, and dental implants with precision and care. Utilize dental imaging technology and medical imaging techniques to diagnose conditions accurately. Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care instructions. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry setups for efficient workflow and enhanced patient comfort. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry, including orthodontics, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics. Ensure compliance with all healthcare diagnosis standards, dental terminology accuracy, and medical documentation requirements. Requirements Valid state dental license with current certification to practice as a General Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting; prior dental clinic experience preferred. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, orthodontics, and implant placement. Familiarity with dental fabrication techniques and medical imaging technology. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients clearly about their oral health needs. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records management.
