Dental Treatment Coordinator We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and experienced Pediatric Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is confident working with children and their parents, has excellent communication skills, and understands how to clearly present treatment plans while helping families navigate their financial and insurance options. Responsibilities Welcome pediatric patients and their parents with a warm, professional attitude Present and explain recommended treatment plans in a clear and easy-to-understand manner Discuss treatment costs, payment options, and financing Verify and explain dental insurance benefits and coverage Comfortable working with PPO and Denti-Cal/Medi-Cal orthodontic and pediatric procedures Coordinate treatment scheduling and follow-up appointments Follow up with families regarding unscheduled and outstanding treatment Help increase treatment acceptance while maintaining a patient-centered approach Work closely with doctors, clinical staff, and the front office team Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation Assist with pre-authorizations, insurance questions, and financial arrangements Provide an exceptional experience for children and their families Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator , preferably in pediatric dentistry Strong understanding of dental insurance and treatment coordination Experience with PPO and Denti-Cal/Medi-Cal preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Comfortable discussing treatment fees and financial arrangements Strong organizational and follow-up skills Professional, positive, and personable demeanor Ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents Team-oriented and dependable Experience with dental practice management software is a plus What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can confidently move a patient from diagnosis to treatment acceptance and scheduling while making families feel comfortable and well cared for.
