Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning Deliver restorative, preventive, and basic surgical dental care using evidence-based practices Educate patients and families on oral health, treatment options, and post-treatment care Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and specialists to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and treatment records in practice systems Adhere to clinical quality, infection control, and safety protocols Use digital imaging and modern dental technology to support diagnosis and treatment Participate in practice meetings, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts Required Skills Comprehensive dental examination and diagnosis Restorative procedures (fillings, crowns, bridges) Preventive dentistry and patient education Endodontic and simple surgical extraction skills Use of digital radiography and imaging systems Infection control and OSHA compliance Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Local anesthesia and pain management Treatment planning and case presentation Collaborative care in multi-provider practice
