We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Dentist to join a collaborative dental team and provide high-quality care to patients during our Saturday clinic hours. You will play a key role in improving oral health outcomes while supporting patient education, team development, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Provide routine and emergency dental services, including diagnosis, treatment planning, oral examinations, restorative procedures, crown and bridge work, removable prosthetics, uncomplicated endodontics, and minor oral surgery Initiate and interpret diagnostic x-rays and laboratory studies Administer and prescribe anesthetics, medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate Refer patients to specialty providers and other care services when indicated Educate patients and families on oral health, disease prevention, and treatment options Direct, coordinate, and supervise the clinical activities of Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienists Collaborate with medical, behavioral health, and dental providers in an integrated care setting Support clinic quality, productivity, and patient satisfaction initiatives Participate in staff training, community health promotion, and safety/compliance programs Partner with the Chief Dental Officer to support clinic productivity, scheduling, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts Maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and organizational regulations, policies, and safety standards Adapt quickly to clinic workflows and EDR systems & maintain an efficient patient schedule Meet quality and productivity benchmarks & deliver exceptional patient experiences What We Are Looking For Required Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an ADA-accredited dental school Current, valid, and unrestricted California Dental License Current DEA registration and CPR certification (BCLS/ACLS) 2+ years of clinical dental practice experience Experience treating both pediatric and adult patients Proficiency with Electronic Dental Records (EDR/EHR) Strong clinical, communication, leadership, and patient service skills Additional Skills & Attributes Experience in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or community health center setting preferred Experience with NextGen EDR preferred Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Passion for serving underserved communities Comfortable in fast-paced, high-volume settings Flexible, adaptable, and solutions-oriented Strong leader, mentor, and team player Builds trust with diverse patient populations Committed to quality improvement, patient satisfaction & continuous learning If you are a compassionate dentist looking for a rewarding opportunity to serve your community while enjoying a consistent Saturday schedule, this could be the perfect fit.
