Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic and growing dental team. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and healthcare regulations. Utilize advanced dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for accurate medical documentation, scheduling, and record keeping while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Interpret medical imaging and dental radiographs to diagnose conditions accurately and plan appropriate treatments. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions in a clear and compassionate manner. Collaborate with team members on complex cases involving pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, or implantology to provide comprehensive care. Adhere strictly to state healthcare regulations and maintain detailed medical records in accordance with legal standards. Assist in dental fabrication processes such as crowns or bridges when necessary and support the team during procedures requiring four-handed dentistry techniques. Requirements Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate General Dentist. Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic environment; experience with dental office management systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control standards. Proficiency in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgery, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics (braces or aligners), and implant placement is desirable. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and anesthesiology techniques for patient comfort during procedures involving sedation or local anesthesia. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients about their oral health effectively. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality patient care standards. Knowledge of medical imaging technology and the ability to interpret results accurately for diagnosis purposes. $900.00 - $1,300.00 per day
