Utilize dental software systems like curve to document patient records, treatment plans, and medical documentation efficiently while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions to foster understanding and trust. Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to deliver seamless patient care through four-handed dentistry techniques. Stay informed on state healthcare regulations and current best practices in general dentistry to uphold the highest standards of quality care. Requirements Valid state licensure as a General Dentist with current DEA registration if applicable. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, medical terminology, and clinical procedures. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control standards, and dental fabrication processes. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix , curve is highly preferred. Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics basics, oral surgery,. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient assessment and care delivery. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure compliance at all times. Experience working in a busy dental clinic environment with a focus on pediatric dentistry or pediatric dentistry experience is a plus.
