This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize advanced surgical skills in a collaborative environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. As an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, you will perform complex oral and facial surgeries, diagnose conditions accurately, and contribute to the overall health and well-being of our patients. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgeries including dental extractions, dental implants, orthognathic surgeries, facial trauma repairs, and soft tissue procedures. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging interpretation using medical imaging tools. Develop individualized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and healthcare diagnosis principles while adhering to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Collaborate with dental specialists such as prosthodontists, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, and anesthesiologists to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with medical records standards and infection control protocols. Utilize dental terminology effectively during client communication to explain procedures clearly and compassionately. Ensure aseptic technique during all surgical procedures to prevent infection and promote healing. Stay updated on advancements in oral surgery techniques, including root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and the use of medical imaging for accurate diagnosis. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution with specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Valid state license to practice dentistry with certification in oral surgery or maxillofacial surgery. Proven experience in general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and implantology preferred. Proficiency with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control practices, medical terminology, and HIPAA compliance standards. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients about procedures and post-operative care effectively. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques for optimal patient comfort.
