Are you looking to supplement your hours or slow down a bit? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering comprehensive dental services in a friendly, professional environment. You will play a vital role in improving patients' oral health and confidence through expert diagnosis, treatment planning, and compassionate care. Duties Perform general dentistry procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canal therapy. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing dental and medical terminology to develop accurate diagnoses. Utilize dental imaging technology and anatomical knowledge to assist in treatment planning and execution. Provide specialized treatments such as prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and dental implants as appropriate. Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Ensure infection control protocols and aseptic techniques are strictly followed during all procedures. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care plans. Collaborate with team members using four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize patient comfort and clinic efficiency. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures by participating in ongoing education. Requirements Valid CA state license to practice dentistry Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting; familiarity with dental office software Eaglesoft is highly preferred. Proficiency in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental restorations and implant procedures. Some experience with pediatric dentistry practices including treating young patients. Ability to perform complex procedures such as dental implants and orthodontics when necessary. Invisalign is the office's preferred procedure for ortho. Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization techniques aligned with OSHA guidelines. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient care and client satisfaction. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and interpreting diagnostic results. CBCT familiarity a plus. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Pay:

$75,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
