Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team to work with our team part time ( Wednesday, Thursday) In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise will help transform smiles through precise diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and compassionate patient communication. Duties Perform thorough dental examinations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review, utilizing dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Diagnose dental conditions such as cavities, periodontal disease, endodontic issues, orthodontic needs, and prosthodontic requirements with accuracy and professionalism. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs, state healthcare regulations, and HIPAA compliance standards. Conduct various procedures including dental restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, implants, oral surgery, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments. Utilize dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for documentation of medical records and treatment progress while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-care instructions while ensuring client comfort and understanding. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry to deliver efficient patient care while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Experience Proven experience in general dentistry within a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting is essential. Familiarity with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Hands-on experience performing a wide range of procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, implants, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, pediatric dentistry, and prosthodontics. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques required for safe practice. Ability to interpret medical imaging and utilize diagnostic tools for accurate dental diagnosis. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on delivering compassionate patient care while explaining complex procedures clearly. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare requirements to ensure full compliance in all aspects of practice management. Join us in delivering exceptional dental care that transforms lives!
