Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist Associate to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients across all age groups, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Your expertise in general dentistry, including restorative procedures, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery, will be vital in delivering high-quality care. You will work closely with patients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and execute procedures with precision and compassion. Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental diagnosis, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, implants, and oral surgeries. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental terminology to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging technology and anatomical knowledge to support precise diagnoses and effective treatments. Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Apply infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-care instructions to foster trust and understanding. Collaborate with team members using dental office software such as Dentrix Ascend to streamline patient management and documentation. Assist with dental fabrication processes and support other clinical staff during four-handed dentistry procedures for efficiency. Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery to enhance patient care. Qualifications Valid state dental license with current credentials to practice dentistry independently. Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, implantology, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Proficiency in dental office management software such as Dentrix, EasyDental, etc. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare diagnosis processes, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and empathetically. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, implant placements, and other advanced procedures confidently. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and anatomy relevant to dental practice. Experience working within a fast-paced dental clinic environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
