Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants. Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental diagnosis techniques and medical terminology to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document medical records accurately and ensure compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all clinical procedures to maintain a sterile environment. Interpret medical imaging and dental radiographs to diagnose oral health issues effectively. Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions to foster understanding and trust. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery while adhering to all healthcare diagnosis standards and dental terminology conventions. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current certification in general dentistry. Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings with proficiency in dental fabrication, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and oral surgery. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control practices, medical documentation, and HIPAA compliance. Familiarity with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for efficient patient record management. Ability to perform pediatric dentistry procedures when needed and handle diverse patient populations including children. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Knowledge of healthcare diagnosis processes and the ability to interpret medical terminology accurately.
