Responsibilities Provide general dentistry services including examinations, fillings, extractions, and root canal therapy with precision and care Perform specialized procedures such as prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, dental implants, and endodontics as needed Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and preferences while explaining procedures clearly using dental terminology Maintain accurate medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed through aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures Collaborate effectively with team members in a four-handed dentistry setup to optimize patient comfort and workflow Communicate clearly with patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster trust and satisfaction Experience Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic environment with a strong background in general dentistry Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Open dental scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and anatomy relevant to oral health assessments Ability to demonstrate excellent client communication skills while explaining complex procedures in an understandable manner Understanding of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environment.
