Job Summary North Brevard General Practice seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dental team. We are looking for someone to practice 6 days per month. We are flexible with days Responsibilities Perform thorough dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for a variety of dental conditions, including restorative, endodontic, prosthodontic, orthodontic, and surgical procedures. Conduct dental procedures such as cleanings, fillings, root canal therapy, extractions, implants, oral surgeries, and prosthodontics with precision and aseptic technique. Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term dental health. Maintain infection control standards and ensure the highest level of patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic operations while delivering exceptional patient care in a friendly environment. Qualifications Valid state dental license with current DEA registration if applicable. Proven experience in general dentistry within a dental clinic or office setting. Proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental diagnosis, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and oral surgery techniques. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, implants, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, and other specialized procedures as needed. Excellent client communication skills with a focus on patient care and education. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
