Utilize clinical knowledge to practice comprehensive dentistry, including diagnosis and treatment of oral health issues; Listen to patient concerns, and educate and instruct patients regarding preventative dental care, the causes of oral health issues and treatment options, and dental health services; Examine teeth, gums, and related oral structures, using dental , x-rays, and similar diagnostic tools, to evaluate dental health, diagnose diseases or abnormalities, and implement suitable treatment plans; Analyze patients dental issues to decide on the best course of action to improve both short and long-term dental health. The dentist will use their professional judgement to perform the following as needed: Remove decay from teeth and fill cavities; Perform extractions on damaged teeth when necessary; Apply prosthetics, sealers, and whiteners; Prescribe medication for dental-related conditions; Bleach, clean, and/or polish teeth to restore the original color; Create and/or fit prosthodontic devices such as crowns, bridges, and implants; Diagnose and treat diseases and malformations of teeth, gums, and other parts of the mouth, and administer preventive and corrective services; Correct occlusions using dental tools; Administer anesthetics to reduce pain patients may feel during surgery. Refer patients to dental specialists. Answer questions from patients and team members professionally.
