The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures, patient care, and dental technology. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients across all age groups, including pediatric dentistry. Conduct various dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Utilize dental imaging and medical imaging tools to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control measures to ensure patient safety and prevent cross-contamination. Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation using dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Educate patients on oral health care, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall well-being. Collaborate with team members on patient assessment and treatment execution using current dental terminology and best practices. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and medical records management. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties. Requirements Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate General Dentist. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment; familiarity with dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and medical documentation standards. Proficiency in performing various dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery. Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus; ability to work effectively with pediatric patients preferred. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment planning and education. Ability to adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices essential for safe practice standards. Effective communication skills combined with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
