Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Orthodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will provide expert orthodontic care, focusing on diagnosing, preventing, and correcting dental and facial irregularities. Your expertise will help patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles through innovative treatment plans and compassionate patient care. Duties Conduct comprehensive orthodontic assessments, including patient evaluation and diagnosis using advanced dental imaging and medical records. Develop personalized treatment plans for patients requiring braces, aligners, retainers, or other orthodontic appliances. Perform orthodontic procedures such as fitting braces, adjusting appliances, and monitoring progress throughout treatment. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care, including referrals for oral surgery or prosthodontics when necessary. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations, ensuring all records are up-to-date and secure. Educate patients on orthodontic procedures, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care to promote optimal outcomes. Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all clinical procedures to ensure patient safety. Skills Extensive knowledge of orthodontics, dental diagnosis, and treatment planning. Proficiency with dental software such as Orthotrac for managing patient records and appointments. Experience with four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency during procedures. Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry, dental implants, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry practices. Ability to communicate effectively with clients of all ages while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, infection control standards, and medical imaging techniques. Skilled in dental fabrication processes and client communication to ensure patient satisfaction throughout their treatment journey.
