Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic dental team as an Associate Dentist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional oral healthcare to diverse patient populations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to utilize your comprehensive dental expertise, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and orthodontics. You will be responsible for providing thorough patient assessments, accurate dental diagnoses, and effective treatment plans while ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient care. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including medical and dental history reviews, to accurately assess patient needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing advanced techniques in dental diagnosis, oral surgery, and other specialties. Conduct various procedures such as dental extractions, restorations, prosthodontics fabrication, orthodontic adjustments, and pediatric dentistry treatments with precision and care. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions fostering a positive patient experience. Collaborate with team members on patient care strategies and participate in ongoing education to stay current with advancements in dental technology and healthcare diagnosis. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with current certification in anesthesiology and pediatric dentistry preferred. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and clinical procedures. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Knowledge of infection control standards, aseptic techniques, medical imaging procedures, and anatomy knowledge necessary for safe practice. Strong client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on treatment plans effectively. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and adhering to all state healthcare regulations regarding medical documentation and dental records.
