Ensure accurate data entry into Open Dental of the insurance plan information. Review existing insurance plans in Open Dental to combine and ensure accuracy of existing dental plans. Correct any errors as necessary. Update patient benefit information in the organization's insurance system and verify that existing information is accurate to ensure the patient receives a correct estimate of insurance payments for the treatment being presented. Coordinate with the practice, the third-party vendor, and the RCM team. Work with assigned practice teams to ensure an exceptional patient experience. Various other duties as requested by the supervisor. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 3 - 5 years of experience working with insurance companies and extensive knowledge of different types of coverage and policies Computer, telephone, internet, Virtual fax machine Preferred Associate Degree or Higher Open Dental knowledge, Dental insurance verification experience Any offer of employment is contingent upon the Company's determination that the candidate has successfully passed a background check, including a drug screen.
