Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a General Dentist and make a meaningful impact on patients' oral health and confidence! Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, to develop personalized treatment plans. Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations. Operate dental imaging equipment effectively for accurate diagnosis while maintaining proper medical records and documentation. Collaborate with dental assistants in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Maintain proficiency in dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and record management. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations related to medical records, HIPAA privacy standards, and infection prevention protocols. Experience Understanding of general dentistry procedures. Hands-on experience with dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), and oral surgery techniques. Familiarity with dental imaging technology and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Knowledge of anatomy as it pertains to the head, neck, mouth, and jaw structures for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Skilled in patient care delivery with excellent communication Commitment to infection control standards including sterilization practices and aseptic technique adherence.
