Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and patient needs. Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for medical documentation, treatment planning, and record keeping. Ensure strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy. Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care to foster trust and understanding. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with state healthcare regulations and industry best practices related to pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, and implant procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to medical documentation and dental records management. Support infection control standards through proper sterilization procedures and medical imaging techniques. Qualifications Valid dental license in the applicable state; experience with state healthcare regulations is preferred. DDS/DMD from a CODA Accredited Dental College Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis and client communication. Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols. Hands-on experience in dental office environments or clinics demonstrating competence in dental fabrication, extractions, implants, orthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Ability to perform procedures including root canal therapy, dental implants, prosthodontics, and oral surgeries confidently. Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and medical records management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.
