We are looking for a skilled and personable Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our team on a part-time, flexible basis . Responsibilities Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures, including dental extractions, implant placements, bone graft, biopsies, and reconstructive surgeries with precision and care Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and diagnostic imaging interpretation to develop effective treatment plans Utilize advanced dental software such as CareStack for accurate medical documentation and record keeping Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment during all procedures Oral surgery consultations and comprehensive treatment planning Collaborate with general dentists, pediatric dentists, orthodontists, prosthodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care instructions to ensure optimal recovery and satisfaction Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws while managing sensitive medical records and documentation Stay current with the latest advancements in oral surgery techniques, dental terminology, and healthcare diagnosis standards to provide evidence-based treatments Experience Proven experience in dental office or clinical settings specializing in oral surgery or related fields such as endodontics or prosthodontics Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, dental implants, and other complex procedures in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical imaging techniques including X-rays and CBCT scans for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Familiarity with pediatric dentistry procedures is a plus for treating younger patients effectively Strong understanding of healthcare diagnosis processes, medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe surgical practices Excellent client communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build trust with patients of all ages This role requires a dedicated professional committed to delivering top-tier patient care while adhering to all regulatory standards.
