Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, in a correctional setting. Duties Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology. Deliver a variety of treatments such as dental restorations, extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with dental assistants to execute four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care delivery. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote long-term dental wellness. Document all procedures accurately in medical records while adhering to confidentiality standards and medical documentation requirements. Qualifications Valid Maryland state license to practice dentistry with current DEA certification if applicable. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental fabrication, prosthodontics, restorations, and oral surgery procedures. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Ability to perform dental extractions, restorations, and other complex procedures confidently. Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on patient care and satisfaction. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of diverse backgrounds. Pay:

$187,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year
