Job Type:
Full-time About the Role Grand Valley Implant Dentistry is seeking a motivated Associate Dentist to join our practice in Allendale, MI. This role is tailored for a clinician eager to accelerate their skills in full-mouth reconstruction and surgical dentistry within a high-output, tech-forward practice environment. You will work directly alongside experienced clinicians, receiving structured mentorship and hands-on exposure to advanced surgical procedures, robotic dental technology (Yomi S), CBCT interpretation, and guided implant workflows. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive oral evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Educate patients on oral health and present complex treatment plans clearly. Provide restorative and general dental care, including same-day dentistry, fillings, crowns, extractions, and preventive care. Assist with and train in advanced surgical procedures, including implant placement, bone grafting, and full-arch surgical reconstructions (All-on-X / FP1 workflows). Utilize state-of-the-art technology including CBCT, digital scan workflows, and Yomi S robotic surgical tools. Clinical Mentorship & Progression Pathway We offer a structured internal progression framework for doctors seeking rapid skill development:
Immediate Hands-On:
Assist on advanced implant and reconstructive cases starting in your first month.
Implant & Surgical Training:
Progression into single/multi-unit implant placement and grafting as clinical competency is demonstrated.
Full-Arch Advancement:
Comprehensive training path toward independent full-arch surgical execution. Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school (Recent graduates are welcome to apply). Active or eligible Michigan Dental License. Strong communication skills and patient-first commitment. High drive to learn advanced surgical techniques and implantology.
Compensation & Benefits Compensation Structure:
$75.00/hour or 26% of collections/production (whichever is greater).
Earning Potential:
$150,000
  • $300,000+ targeted annual earnings as surgical volume increases.
