  • Full-time, Contract Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of clinical experience and possess a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you will perform comprehensive dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop personalized treatment plans. You will utilize your expertise in general dentistry procedures, including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics, to improve patients' oral health and confidence. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental terminology and medical records to diagnose oral health conditions accurately. Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontic treatments with precision and care. Utilize dental imaging technology and maintain aseptic techniques to ensure infection control and patient safety during all procedures. Collaborate with team members to deliver four-handed dentistry for efficient patient flow and optimal care delivery. Maintain detailed medical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations, including medical records and treatment notes. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term oral health. Ensure compliance with all dental office policies, including infection control protocols and OSHA standards. Requirements Minimum of two years of experience practicing general dentistry in a clinical setting; experience in pediatric dentistry or oral surgery is a plus. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques. Demonstrated ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other restorative procedures effectively. Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs comprehensively and communicate clearly. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical documentation and patient privacy.
