Utilize advanced dental software like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record-keeping in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to maintain a safe clinical environment. Use medical imaging tools effectively to diagnose dental conditions and plan appropriate treatments. Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care to promote long-term wellness. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Skills Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Experience in pediatric dentistry and pediatrics is a plus for treating younger patients effectively. Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate treatment plans clearly. Deep understanding of infection control standards and sterilization techniques to ensure safety for patients and staff. Familiarity with medical imaging technology and the ability to interpret results for accurate diagnoses.
