Job Description
Job Overview We are a well-established general dental practice seeking a seasoned General Dentist (5+ years of experience) to join our team on a full-time basis. In this vital role, you will be the sole provider and provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and enhancing smiles through expert diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient education. Your expertise will contribute to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest standards of infection control and medical documentation. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations, medical history reviews, and treatment planning using advanced dental imaging techniques Perform a wide range of procedures such as restorative work, crowns, bridges, extractions, molar root canals, and preventive care Deliver exceptional patient care with clear communication regarding treatment options and oral health education Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient medical records and ensuring confidentiality at all times Utilize digital imaging and modern dental technologies to support diagnosis and treatment Collaborate with dental assistants to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry and best practices Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies to promote long-term oral health Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution Valid State of Michigan dental license in good standing Current malpractice insurance Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with familiarity in dental terminology and medical terminology. Experience with OpenDental practice management software is a plus Strong knowledge of anatomy, oral pathology, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (including molar), endodontics procedures, prosthodontics fabrication, and other restorative treatments Ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records management and patient privacy standards Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care with attention to detail in medical documentation and records management
Pay:
$200,000.00 - $240,000.00 per yearLicense/Certification:
