Job Description
P.I.E. Management is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist at a State Correctional Facility.
Shift:
07:00-15:30 Overview We are seeking a dedicated Dentist to join our healthcare team within a correctional facility environment. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to incarcerated individuals, ensuring their oral health needs are met with professionalism, compassion, and adherence to strict safety and confidentiality standards. This role offers an opportunity to deliver essential dental services in a unique setting, supporting overall health and well-being of the patient population while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and security protocols. Job Duties Provide Dental Services to inmates at assigned correctional facilities and other dental clinics, including diagnosis, operative/restorative, surgical (including extractions), and prosthetic treatment Document and record patient treatment information as required by Dental Program guidelines, ensuring compliance with established standards Provide comprehensive examinations of patients Diagnosis and treat diseases, injuries and malformations of teeth Tooth extraction of teeth and roots, implants Restore teeth, construct dentures and dental appliances Suture facial lacerations within and around the oral cavity Provide medications for infection control, pain control, and for the control or viral, bacterial and fungal infections Ability to provide instruction on oral hygiene and methods of preventing the spread of oral diseases. Maintain charts and histories of clinical treatmentsRequirements:
