What You'll Do Provide comprehensive dental examinations, diagnoses, and individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients. Deliver preventive and restorative care, including fillings, extractions, pulp therapy, and other pediatric dental procedures within your scope of practice. Create a welcoming, reassuring experience for children who may be nervous, fearful, or visiting the dentist for the first time. Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers about treatment options, oral health, prevention, nutrition, and home-care recommendations. Use dental imaging and technology to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. Work closely with dental assistants and the rest of our team using efficient four-handed dentistry techniques. Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation. Follow appropriate infection-control, sterilization, HIPAA, and patient-safety standards. Who We're Looking For Our ideal Pediatric Dentist is someone who is: Genuinely enthusiastic about working with children Warm, patient, energetic, and approachable An excellent communicator with both children and adults Comfortable adapting their approach to different ages, personalities, and developmental needs Clinically confident while knowing when referral or additional specialty care is appropriate Collaborative and enjoys being part of a team Committed to providing ethical, compassionate, high-quality dentistry Interested in continuing to learn and grow professionally Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Current and unrestricted license, or eligibility for licensure, to practice dentistry in the State of Missouri Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency/program and appropriate specialty qualifications Current certifications and credentials as required by Missouri law and the procedures performed Knowledge of pediatric dental diagnosis, treatment planning, radiography, infection control, and clinical documentation Understanding of HIPAA requirements and applicable state and federal healthcare regulations Strong patient-management and behavior-guidance skills Ability to work effectively with dental assistants and the entire clinical team Why Tooth Town?
