Oral Surgeon - ASC | Part-Time | No Call, Weekends or Holidays The Staff Pad Jackson, MS Job Details Part-time 1 hour ago Qualifications Dental License BLS Certification Working with pediatric populations Oral surgery Full Job Description The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization to recruit a Part-Time Oral Surgeon to join its affiliated professional care team in Jackson, MS. The organization specializes in restorative and exodontia dental procedures for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia, offering an opportunity to practice in a collaborative ASC environment focused on exceptional patient care.
Schedule:
Part-Time (1-2 Days per week) | No Call, Weekends or Holidays What You'll Do Provide oral surgical care in a fast-paced ASC environment Work alongside the surgical team to ensure a safe and positive patient experience Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day Coordinate care with Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members What We're Looking For Licensed Oral Surgeon with appropriate state licensure Experience working with pediatric patients Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent PALS certification within 6 months of hire National Board certification strongly preferred Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models preferred Additional Attributes Strong work ethic and positive attitude Excellent communication and professionalism Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical setting If you're an Oral Surgeon seeking a part-time opportunity with in a specialized surgical setting, we'd love to hear from you.
