Diagnose dental conditions accurately utilizing dental terminology and medical diagnosis principles, developing personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services including dental cleanings, restorations, root canal therapy, dental extractions, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Conduct pediatric dentistry treatments with special attention to the unique needs of children and adolescents. Utilize practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and maintaining detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during all procedures. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions while fostering a welcoming environment. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort. Ensure accurate documentation of all procedures, diagnoses, and treatment outcomes in medical records while adhering to legal standards for medical documentation. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques such as dental fabrication and medical imaging to provide cutting-edge care. Experience Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting with a strong background in general dentistry and specialized areas like endodontics or prosthodontics. Familiarity with practice management software including Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to perform dental procedures such as root canal therapy, dental implants, orthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry confidently. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques aligned with OSHA regulations. Excellent client communication skills to educate patients effectively about their oral health status and treatment plans. Experience working within HIPAA guidelines and state healthcare regulations ensuring confidentiality and compliance at all times. Ability to assess patients comprehensively using medical terminology and diagnosis skills to deliver accurate treatments tailored to individual needs.
