ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assume responsibility for training/teaching/instructing Dental Assisting and/or Dental Hygiene students and treating patients in the Forsyth Tech Dental Clinic as designated by the Program Coordinator Dental Programs and approved by the Dean. Assume responsibility for maintaining annual OSHA and Bloodborne Pathogens training as well as annual educational methodology training as required by CODA. Make recommendations to the Clinical Coordinator regarding Clinical protocol and procedures. Make recommendations to Program Coordinator for supplies, equipment, and equipment repairs. Participate in the assessment/grading of student clinical performance. Provide constructive feedback and remediation to students to improve clinical performance. Assume responsibility for being familiar with and adhering to all policies of the College. Attend specialized training activities that enhance job performance. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
