Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and a strong foundation in various dental practices, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient assessment while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. We are looking for someone to work Tuesdays, Thursdays and every other Saturday to start and will work up to more days. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues. Provide a range of dental services, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct dental extractions and root canal therapy as necessary. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with dental team to ensure optimal patient care and comfort. Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in all procedures. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care. Experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental practices. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and their applications in dentistry. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to ethical standards in dentistry.
