Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of general dentistry procedures, excellent patient communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dental care. This paid position offers opportunities for professional growth within a supportive practice setting. Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose dental conditions accurately, and develop effective treatment plans in accordance with healthcare regulations. Utilize dental terminology and medical documentation standards to record patient information clearly and accurately. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and safety. Operate dental imaging equipment and interpret radiographs to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and promote oral health education. Maintain proficiency in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, billing, and medical records management. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort. Skills Extensive knowledge of general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix. Strong understanding of healthcare diagnosis, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques. Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice environments. Ability to communicate clearly with patients of diverse backgrounds while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Familiarity with state healthcare regulations and HIPAA compliance requirements related to medical records and documentation.
