Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient satisfaction. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, performing various dental procedures, and educating patients on oral health. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals in a supportive and patient-focused environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Stay informed about advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license and ability to pass background checks as required by law. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and HIPAA regulations. Experience with pediatric dentistry or prosthodontics is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
