Full health benefits 5 day work week NEW grads are welcome Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental examinations, cleanings, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and implant placements. Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, diagnosing dental conditions using clinical and radiographic data, and developing personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and state healthcare regulations. Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize efficiency and patient comfort. Use dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, billing, and treatment tracking. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry techniques, materials, and technology to provide the highest standard of care. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with eligibility for licensure in the respective region. Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with proficiency in dental office software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental diagnosis procedures including medical imaging interpretation and anatomy understanding. Expertise in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics (braces), oral surgery procedures including implants, and pediatric dentistry treatments. Familiarity with infection control standards and sterilization techniques aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures using clear language tailored to diverse patient needs. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and patient privacy. Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail during procedures such as dental fabrication or complex diagnostics. #LV100
