Part time Job Summary The Smilist is seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Endodontist to join our team in Massapequa Park. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care within a highly collaborative and supportive environment. As part of our clinical team, you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and a dedicated support staff, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality clinical outcomes and a boutique-level patient experience.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Excellence:
Perform a full range of endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment, and surgical interventions as required.
Collaborative Care:
Partner closely with General Dentists and other clinical leadership to develop comprehensive treatment plans and ensure seamless patient transitions.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation and patient records within our practice management system.
Patient Experience:
Educate patients on their endodontic health and treatment options, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their care journey.
Operational Compliance:
Adhere to all organizational hiring policies, credentialing requirements, and healthcare laws to maintain the highest standards of practice.
Requirements Education:
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
Specialization:
Completion of a formal Endodontic specialty residency program.
Licensure:
An active and unrestricted New York State dental license.
Skills:
