Duties Deliver high-quality general dentistry services including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, and prosthodontics. Perform complex procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, dental implants, oral surgery, and orthodontic treatments. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and healthcare diagnosis principles. Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Ensure infection control through aseptic techniques and adherence to sterilization protocols during all procedures. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for charting and documentation. Extensive experience in general dentistry with skills in dental fabrication, dental implants, oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and infection control standards. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures including crowns and bridges, and pediatric dentistry treatments confidently. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry practices to optimize patient care efficiency. Strong client communication skills to educate patients on oral health and build trustful relationships. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure compliance in all aspects of medical documentation and patient privacy.
