Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental terminology accurately and explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Operate dental equipment and utilize advanced practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations and state healthcare guidelines to protect patient confidentiality. Prepare detailed medical documentation and update medical records with precision following healthcare diagnosis standards. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Assist in dental fabrication processes when necessary and support the integration of dental implants or orthodontic appliances into treatment plans. Ensure compliance with all infection control standards and maintain a sterile environment during procedures using medical imaging and anatomy knowledge for accurate diagnosis. Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment plans, post-operative care instructions, and preventive strategies for maintaining oral health. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current certification to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, and implantology preferred. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control protocols, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Experience working with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients on dental health practices effectively. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws related to medical documentation and patient privacy. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, oral surgeries, and other complex procedures confidently. Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection prevention measures essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
