Utilize dental terminology accurately to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Operate dental equipment efficiently, including digital X-ray machines and dental fabrication tools, while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance workflow efficiency and patient comfort. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health. Requirements Valid dental license in good standing for the applicable state or region. Proven experience in general dentistry with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and medical imaging techniques. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, dental terminology, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance. Experience with pediatric dentistry is highly desirable; ability to work effectively with children is essential. Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and build rapport with diverse patient populations.
