Why Choose This Opportunity Part time needed-2-3 days 6 month Daily with 35% collections General Dentistry Duties Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental histories, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop accurate diagnoses. Utilize dental terminology effectively to explain treatment plans and procedures clearly to patients. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and state healthcare regulations to ensure patient safety. Maintain precise medical documentation and update electronic health records using practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow efficiency and patient comfort. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, post-operative care, and preventive dentistry strategies to foster trust and compliance. Stay current with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, and other specialties through ongoing education. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable. Proven experience in general dentistry with a strong background in dental diagnosis and treatment planning. Proficiency in dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, anatomy, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance standards. Demonstrated ability to perform dental procedures including extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics (crowns & bridges), orthodontics (braces & aligners), oral surgery (including dental implants), and pediatric dentistry. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately. Strong understanding of healthcare diagnosis processes and medical documentation requirements.
