Job Description

Job Summary We're a dentist recruiting company working with a family dental office that is seeking an associate dentist. The office is a private one, that has built a wonderful reputation in the community over several decades. This office is committed to providing wonderful patient care. It is a fee for service and PPO office, with no capitation. General restorative procedures like crown and bridge, extractions, restorations, some removables, is all that is required. If a dentist is proficient in endodontics and placing implants that is a plus but not required. They can offer excellent mentoring! This is a state of the art office with a great team of hygienists, assistants and front desk. They're seeking a full time dentist, but would consider part time as well. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues. Perform a wide range of dental procedures, including but not limited to root canal therapy, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care. Stay current with advancements in dental techniques and technologies through continuous education. Experience Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Proven experience in performing various dental procedures, including root canal therapy and oral surgery. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
