JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sterile Technician to join our dynamic dental team. STERILE TECH POSITION. DUTIES

Assist our hygienist. May assist dentist during various procedures including oral surgery, endodontics and general dentistry, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are ready. Manage dental x-ray procedures, including taking and developing X-ray images while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Document medical records accurately using patient management software like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring compliance with clinical confidentiality policies. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by processing dental instruments efficiently and adhering to infection control standards in accordance with healthcare infection prevention guidelines.

EXPERIENCE

Some experience needed for sterile tech. Knowledge of dental terminology, and anatomy enhances your ability to assist confidently during procedures. Must have some knowledge of sterilization procedures, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Experience performing dental assisting tasks such as chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and supporting the dentist.
