Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize advanced medical imaging technology and dental terminology to accurately diagnose conditions and communicate effectively with patients about their treatment options. Manage anesthesia administration safely for procedures requiring sedation or general anesthesia, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases involving pediatrics, orthodontics, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Educate patients on post-operative care instructions, potential risks, and preventive measures to promote optimal recovery and long-term oral health. Requirements Valid license as an Oral Surgeon or equivalent certification in your region with proven experience in oral surgery procedures. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for seamless documentation and scheduling. Demonstrated expertise in general dentistry procedures along with specialized skills in dental implants, root canal therapy, and infection control practices. Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, healthcare diagnosis processes, and medical imaging techniques relevant to oral surgery. Experience working in a dental clinic or healthcare setting with familiarity in pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, prosthodontics, and endodontics is highly desirable. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly while providing compassionate patient care.
