Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Dental Assisting Program. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Dental Assisting courses. The typical teaching load is three courses each term, with two or three preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. Requirements Completion of a Dental Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required

Certifications:

CDA and/or RDA and

DANB RHS and

Xray Certified

EFDA Certification is not required, but highly desired At least three years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting, chairside Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred but not required
