Full Job Description Overview :
West Texas Private Family Dental Office. We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our West Texas private FFS dental office with real opportunity for true ownership. We are out of network with all insurance plans. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and maintenance of teeth and gums. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest dental techniques and technologies and interest in running the business side too. Mentoring opportunities are available. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine dental health and treatment needs. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including preventive, restorative, and oral surgery as needed. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with clinic policies. Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care. Stay updated on the latest dental practices, technologies, and terminology to provide the best care possible. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid Texas state dental license to practice dentistry. Proficient in dental terminology and medical documentation practices. Familiarity with electronic health record systems for managing patient information. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Knowledge of oral surgery techniques is a plus.
