Responsibilities Diagnose and develop comprehensive treatment plans for orthodontic cases, including braces, aligners, and other orthodontic appliances. Perform clinical procedures such as dental assessments, adjustments, and appliance placements with precision and care. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure smooth workflow during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards. Educate patients on treatment options, oral health maintenance, and post-treatment care to foster understanding and engagement. Utilize dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment tracking. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and safety procedures during all clinical activities. Stay current with advancements in orthodontics, dental technology, and healthcare diagnosis to provide innovative patient solutions. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
